History
In 2000, ITC Holding Company started PRE Solutions, a transaction processing company focusing on the prepaid services marketplace.
In 2001, Powertel was purchased by Deutsche Telekom, HeadHunter.NET was sold to Careerbuilder, a JV of the Tribune Company and the Knight-Ridder Newspapers. Also, eCompanyStore became a subsidiary of ITC.
In 2003, Intercall was purchased by West Corporation for $399.6 million in cash. Certain shareholders formed Magnolia Holding Company to purchase PRE Solutions, eCompany Store, other assets and the ITC Holding Company name. After closing the West transaction, the Magnolia Board of Directors transferred the ITC name and mark to an entity owned by Campbell B. Lanier, III.
